LA MIRADA
$170.52 USD
A burst of light crosses the surface, revealing a face whose gaze turns toward a horizon beyond the frame. This gaze connects the image to the reality of everyday life: what we observe, what challenges us, and what remains beyond the boundaries of representation.
Dark areas, strokes of color, and metallic finishes create a tension between what is revealed and what remains in shadow. Reflections shift with the light and the viewer’s position, changing the perception of the surface.
Painted on stretched canvas, the work is recessed within a wooden frame whose orange outer edges extend the color into the surrounding space.
Medium: painting and metallic finishes on stretched canvas, recessed within a wooden frame with orange-painted outer edges.
Approximate dimensions: 43 cm wide × 53 cm high.
