CRUCE VERTICAL

On a surface that appears both fragile and organic, a red circle occupies the center of the composition as a primordial form: a sun, a body, an origin, or a territory. An irregular golden line cuts through it from top to bottom, interrupting its apparent unity and transforming it into a space of encounter.

The tension between the circle's perfect geometry and the unpredictable materiality of the line creates a dialogue between order and chance, permanence and transformation. The gold does not act as a division but as a trace, a luminous scar that connects both sides and turns the fracture into a place of passage.

In Vertical Crossing, the geometric form ceases to be a closed figure and becomes a territory traversed by histories, movements, and experiences. The work invites us to think of identity not as something fixed and homogeneous, but as a construction shaped by crossings, layers, and encounters.
