Sediments of a Wave

When a wave recedes, it does not vanish; it leaves traces behind. Fragments, marks, and deposits that remain on the shore, slowly transformed into memory. Sediments of a Wave is inspired by that quiet persistence—by what endures after movement has passed.
The surface is built in layers, where an original print interacts with paint and a hand-applied collage of metallic foil. Gold, silver, and electric blue catch and release the light, recalling the fleeting shimmer of water across the sand.
The artwork is created on printed velvet and further developed with paint and hand-applied metallic foil collage. It is presented with a hand-painted orange wooden hanging bar, conceived as an integral part of the composition.
